The doctors have drained it once but she has more fluid building up in her lungs again. | Updated Prayer Request Submitted By: Evelyn Kerns | Dear Saints, Please pray for Sis. Evelyn Kerns she has been sick for about a month now. On July 28th she cried out for Oxygen and then became unresponsive so we had to call an ambulance to take her to the hospital ( she started responding to people again the next day). At first the doctors thought it may have been a stroke but they later said that it was not and they couldn't find anything wrong so they released her on July 31st. She was at home for a couple of hours and then became sick again and had to go back to the hospital by ambulance again. Where her normal doctor finally took a look at her and told her family that he had 2 x-rays of her liver the first one showed that it looked good and the second one showed that there may be something going on and he said that he would rather look to the good x-ray ,but just to make sure he said that he would take another blood test. He said the test for brain waves the EEG showed ok. Basically all the tests were ok so they released her August 3rd. She had a doctor appointment Thursday August 5th and Dr. Thompson told her and her daughter the following: That the blood vessels in her brain are slowing down on the flow of blood and would eventually stop and that is the reason she gets confused.He said that she could live maybe up to 2 years even 10 years that way ,but no telling. He also asked if her heart stopped did she want to be revived and that he would advise against it because she would be a vegetable on a ventilator due to the blood vessels in her brain slowing down. Please pray for God to meet this situation and for His will to be done.she is a loving mother a grandmother and a great grandmother.She has fought the good fight of faith.God has blessed us with a good mom.
